SCORM Check

Methodology

Claimed is not tested

SCORM Check is an independent reference for people choosing or renewing an authoring tool. Vendors do not pay for a row, and they do not review the copy before it goes up.

What a row is allowed to say

Yes
A public source says this standard can be exported on the plan named.
Partial
Export exists, with a limit that matters in procurement: the edition is not stated, the package is streaming or dynamic and dies with the subscription, there is a monthly cap, or a second free tool (such as Lumi) is what actually writes the zip.
No
A vendor page says the standard is not included, or a dated review found no export. “Not found” means the second case. It can be wrong if the vendor publishes the feature later.
Unclear
The pages we read do not settle it. Unclear is a result, not a placeholder we meant to fill with a guess.

LMS notes

Every tool has a Moodle row because Moodle is the reference check: widely deployed, and honest about whether a package reports completion and score. Cornerstone, Docebo, TalentLMS, and Workday Learning are added only when a source names them.

Tested
SCORM Check, or a cited independent write-up, ran a package in a named LMS and recorded what completion and score did. Version 1 has no tested rows. A green badge will show up here only when that work exists.
Claimed
The vendor, or a page quoting the vendor, says the package is LMS-ready or that a score reaches a gradebook. That is not a test. Help centers describe the happy path.
Unverified
Nobody in the sources settled completion or score for that LMS.

Prices

The number on a row is the lowest published price of a plan that includes the export, before tax, in the currency the vendor printed. Quote-only products say Quote. When two official or near-official pages disagree, the field is marked uncertain and both figures are written out. Third-party “from” prices are not copied in when the vendor’s own page is silent.

What this is not

  • Not a live scraper, and not an LMS test harness.
  • Not a marketplace. Listings are not for sale.
  • Not legal or accessibility advice. A SCORM zip can still fail WCAG, and a standard your LMS accepts can still fail your reporting policy.
  • A paid “verified” badge is not offered yet. When it is, it will mean a documented run, not a logo. See Sponsors.

How a correction lands

The source link on each tool page is the check. If a vendor changes a plan gate, the update belongs on Price & plan watch with the date and the URL, and the tool’s “updated” date moves with it. The digest is that log by email. It is not a support desk.
